Green Rage

1. Green Rage
This is fun... reminds me of my ole Marching Illini days. The George Mason band playing some Rage.
Green Rage - practice

Green Rage - live

I think that's the same piccolo player rocking out in each video. He he. Just get rid of the unnecessary vocals, and you're set Greenies.

2. Wind rage
A little science (Science!) from those noted global warming deniers (and racists), the Dutch... here's a study badmouthing wind power.

The study makes note of the extra expense and extra CO2 of turning regular gas power on and off to backup when windmills do not work. Duh.

QOTD
The report concludes: “The most cost-effective technologies are nuclear and gas-fired. Onshore, and especially offshore, wind technologies are inordinately expensive.”

3. Math = repetition
Good math site: www.ixl.com

This IXL site is good because it's just problems: graded, timed, and repeated. Also, really good: the problems are ordered by grade/difficulty and topic. So, I go to 7th grade for Ty, select "Greatest Common Factor", and off we go.

4. Tebow!
Gol dang jiminy! Tebow win!

I hopped in the car to pickup Ty from school and head to sax lessons. Turn on the radio. Click.

- Tebow and the Bronco have absolutely no chance in New England next weekend.

- It's like no one remembers how Tebow sucked the last 3 weeks of the regular season?
Click.

- I don't like Tebow because he says God wants him and the Bronco to win.
Click.

Well, first off, I've heard Tebow say the exact opposite about God's concern with the outcome of football games. But this crap is a replay of last week's "reporting" on how Tebow and the Bronco would be crushed by the Steeler. Tebow had no chance. He was an embarrassment. The Steeler had (genius) D-coordinator Dick LeBeau were waiting to feast on hapless Tebow. The Bronco had (scary talent) Brady Quinn waiting in the wings to replace Tebow. Blah blah blah.

Not only did Tebow win. He picked up his teammates: McGahee fumble late in the 4th quarter and Champ Bailey dropped interception in the 4th as well. The Tebow option play punished the Steeler and forced them to bring their safeties up to play against the run. In response, Tebow threw for over 300 yards and the game-winning TD in OT.

So, why the media vitriol? Ya got me. The only difference between Tebow and Michael Vick two years into his career is that Tebow's white and religious and not an asshole. Michael Vick was a running QB who couldn't throw worth a lick early (and not so early) in his career, yet he was universally heralded.

It does seem that the fans get it. Tebow is electric. He's a winner. And yes, it's pretty cool to see a seemingly genuine nice guy in the spotlight. So, I heart Tom Brady and the Pattie, but go Tebow!
yow, bill

PS - And yeah team!
